Description

For those who still don't know, I'm a big fan of Blizzard, more specially of world of Wacraft. I can still remember the first time I played this game and it really changes since then, but I still enjoy playing at it.
After reading the Arthas book (I love this one) and tide of darkness, I really wanted to re-make a paladin, and here it is ! Meet Noctillia my blood elf ! :D (Why night elves doesn't have this haircut?) So yes, what you can see behind her is the paladin's banner thing haha.
I choose her name because of the word "Noctilucent" that means "Visible at night, shining in the night". I found it perfect for my paladin !
Oh, and why do I post this now, the 25.05.2016 ? Well, it's because today is the day when the World of Warcraft movie came out in my country !! :D I'm really so excited, I'll watch it tonight ! Good or bad, it wouldn't change a thing : I'll still enjoy playing and waiting for Legion to arrives !

Hello Hi!  I found this deviation through ProjectComment

My first impression was, "this looks beautiful; like someone drew a figure from a dream. Oh, hey, isn't that a blood elf?"
Well, I have never played WoW, but I've heard it's good. It certainly looks like it has an interesting story.

I like the color palette you used on Noctillia. She looks ethereal and noble. The colors of her banner behind her are a bit grounding in the sense that they seem to take the viewer back down to earth. This is fitting for a paladin, in my humble opinion. Sometimes saving people involves the gritty task of brutally slaying monsters and heretics. The yellows of her banner kind of make me curious because I halfway imagine them as light shining out. I'm not sure if you did this on purpose or not, but good job because evoking the viewer's curiosity is a good way to keep them interested in your image! I also like the glow of her eye. It's also cool that her clothing seems to be part of the banner or kinda echoes the banners colors. The purples echo her skin tone but also tie in with the banner behind her. Nicely done!

There are a few minor things that you could do to improve. Mainly her ear cuffs (or maybe they're piercings but they look like cuffs to me) could use a bit more detail. They don't stand out very strongly. A little shading and perhaps some minor highlights will help them stand out a bit more. Her clothing is very flat. You may have been trying to tie it in with the banner, but there are a couple places going around the breasts that need at least some minor highlighting and/or shading. The dagger on the right looks like it got a hunk taken out of it or something. It would be best if ti mirrored the other given the fact that this part of the paladin's banner.

All in all, very lovely image. I enjoyed viewing it. Have a wodnerful day/night!
